Broward Boulevard & State Road 7 Intersection, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Design services were provided for a 320 LF HDD of a new 20” potable water main under Broward Boulevard in the middle of State Road 7. The project had to be coordinated with the City of Fort Lauderdale, the City of Plantation, and the Florida Department of Transportation. The project was completed as part of a design alternative related to the Broadview Park Neighborhood Improvement Project by the Broward County Water and Wastewater Division. The project was completed on time, within budget, and had caused very little impact to the public during construction.

T&A was the engineer-of-record for the HDD design of the new 20” water main, assisted with permitting efforts, conducted construction inspections, and designed the required MOT plans.
